Clubbing
Well, I survived the late night out clubbing for Pete's 36th Birthday.
Just.
I can barely walk today, I need to get my bad back and hips seen to.
We went to Fabric in Farringdon, London. We hadn't been before, so ended up not being able to find it at first. It took us two hours. Once inside, I couldn't believe the size of it, it was like an airport, and there were staff everywhere collecting empty bottles and directing queues of people. They even had staff in the loos directing you to empty stalls. It was bizarre. We went in room one which was the House room, and tried to stick with it for about two hours, but the DJ's were just awful. We decided to try room 2, the Techno room, and I'm so glad we did as it was much better. We ended up leaving at 7am, and as we walked out people were still queueing up to come in.
So that's Pete's birthday over for another year. I got him a new Portsmouth football shirt and the kids got him books and DVDs. Christmas is next on the list, only a week to go.

I shall refrain from making any "sounds like you're getting old" comments ;)
Because you don't need me to tell you!
I must have caught 'the old' from you Dan, along with all your icky germies, as I walk past you at the school. It's contagious you know! ;)
